Greetings, and thank you for your registration to The Carl Cubbedge Classic. This tournament means a great deal to us at Central Jersey Disc Golf, and having Cubby's family and many friends here makes it all the more special. Please make note of the following important items as we approach Sat. April 14th:
1) The event is sold out and WE CANNOT HONOR walk-up registrations. If you are waitlisted, Lou will contact you the day before the event if anyone drops out. Otherwise, ONLY THOSE WITH A CONFIRMED PAID ACCEPTANCE should arrive at the course. Due to limited parking, we are standing firm with this rule with no exceptions. Please respect this decision and our situation at Allaire.
2) Upon arrival, a club member will guide you when parking. CARPOOLING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. and end at 8:45 sharp. Please do not arrive before 7:00 a.m. so we may set up and put people in place to best serve our players. All players who check-in will receive a caddy guide, and AMs will receive their player packs. CJDG tags will be collected from players who currently hold one, and both tags and discs will be available for purchase.
3) A longer player meeting than normal should be anticipated. We must thank the many people/groups/sponsors who made this event possible, to go over park and event rules and to acknowledge Cubby. We hope to have everyone at their holes by 9:15.
4)Leaving the grounds between rounds is discouraged to avoid a chaotic situation with parking. We will have a nearby establishment, "Local Café" on site to take lunch orders for those interested. Otherwise, we recommend you pack a lunch.
5) We will have a between-rounds CTP for several prizes valued at several hundred dollars. All proceeds generated will be put toward some type of permanent memorial for Cubby to be determined at a future date. Please consider participating!
Please contact Lou Garcia or Frank Gualtieri with questions/concerns. We hope to have an awesome day!
